Skelies

Jesus is everywhere. Growing up in Harlem in the 80's my friends and I never let a day go by without playing the street game Skelies. We would use milkcaps or, quarter water juice caps and melt crayons or, put bubble gum inside of them and then we were off to the Skelie board on the sidewalk down the block.

As kids in a tough neighborhood we never thought God was around to save us from the mean streets. But, I'm here and I believe it was because he was there looking after us after all.
